I just started SDC and had braces before. I replaced my old retainers with Sporting Smiles Essix Plus ($135/set), and they're great. I've worn them for years, no issues, and they are clear, thick, and durable. I don't recommend the Sporting Smiles basic Essix, those cracked in half because they're thinner.
