The proper repair for that is to replace all of the high presure fuel side and flush the low pressure side. A failure of the hpfp sends tiny little metal bits into the fuel injectors damaging them. I notice it when I'm at the coffee drive thru and I can hear it quite well as it bounces off the adjacent wall. I have service scheduled tomorrow and plan to have it addressed. Dealer told me they changed the oil but it was black and smelled burnt so I decided to change it. What you are describing is the common type writer tick. Very common after an oil change. Basically you get some air trapped in the lifter oil passage and it takes a bit of time for it to work out. When my LMM does it it takes 30 to 50 miles for it to clear up.
